  Tenets of Taekwondo            
word  meaning
     
Ye ui - Courtesy Politeness, civility, manners associated with kindness.
Yom chi - Integrity Sound moral principle, uprightness, honesty and sincerity.
In nae - Perseverance Determination to persist in spite of obstacles or difficulties.
JahJeh - Self-Control Control over oneself, desires, actions or emotions.
Baekjool - Indomitable Spirit Not easily discouraged, defeated or subdued. Unconquerable courage or will.
